A good number of Kabras still practice traditional beliefs and practices in African setting, for example in regard to circumcision and marriages. Others practice the Christian faith or Islam. The Kabras church leaders are keen and enthusiastic to have the Bible in their language, they have even in the past attempted to begin translating on their own but were not successful until they learnt about BTL’s work and approached the organization to assist them with the task. With such an approach, The Kabras are enthusiastic about the Bible.
