Ilchamus New Testament Dedication

Ilchamus New Testament was shipped into the Country in August 2022. It is now awaiting dedication and launch on Saturday, 8th October 2022.
The Ilchamus community is one of the ‘Maa’ communities based in Baringo County and among the 27 language communities that BTL is currently working with in Kenya. We celebrate the completion of this New Testament whose foundational work began in 2006. Within the translation period, the Gospel of Matthew was completed and dedicated in 2015, the Gospel of Luke in 2017, and several Epistles in 2018. These Scripture portions are currently the only “Bible” the Ilchamus have access to in their language. We praise God that finally after 16 years, they will be able to hear God speak to them in the language they understand best through the entire New Testament which is now completed.
Pray for the dedication plans which are ongoing both in Ilchamus and Nairobi. Pray for the success of that day.
